- "The Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) is a not-for-profit organization that unites industry associations, professional societies in food science, nutrition and health, consumer groups, and the U.S. government to educate the public about safe food handling. As of early 2006, the Partnership's membership comprises 20 associations and nonprofit organizations. Our members represent the country's leading food industry associations, commodity groups and professional associations in the food sciences and nutrition. PFSE is funded by the contributions of industry trade and professional associations with technical assistance and in-kind support provided by government agencies and consumer organizations."
