| Remarks | 6 Females. Confirmed by Molecular Analysis by Andrea Skantar. Note: may be a possible mixture of P. penetrans as I did not see any oblong spermatheca and rudimentary ovary of the postvulval sac as is seen in P.vulnus and not that much of a subacute tail tip in any of the specimens. May be possibly a variation in this population of P. vulnus from France. In addition, there are clear morphological differences in the “a” value of this population because of the greater body width. |
